Bill Ford
Owner and Founder
Workplace Mental Health Training
Having spent 30+ years working in the Automotive Sector – 15 in Sales, Management and Training. Latterly, 17 successful years in the IT / Dealer Management System (ERP) space. I have seen first-hand and many times over, the negative impact that mental ill health issues can have on both individuals and the organisations for which they work. The contemporary work environment can be highly pressured and target driven, making it particularly prone to exerting pressure on individuals. This can and does create/exacerbate mental ill health issues.
It was the experience of seeing these negative effects that inspired me to qualify to become a Mental Health First Aid Trainer. MHFA England are the sole organisation permitted to provide Mental Health First Aid Instructor Training licensed by Mental Health First Aid International, the global community that has trained over 2.6 million people. My previous extensive experience of presenting to large, diverse and occasionally challenging groups gives me an ideal platform to ensure I can engage with and involve the audience. Ensuring that each and every delegate gets the most out of the time that they and their employers are investing.
I am passionately committed to improving the culture of the working environment and thus benefiting staff, their employers and their customers. I aim to make working environments a more compassionate and humane place for employees to spend their working lives. Besides the obvious health benefits, there is an irrefutable business case for doing this. Please feel free to explore our website where you will find a wealth of further information.
